Canada Post Community Foundation Grant

We were awarded the Canada Post Community Foundation Grant to fund the creation of a mural on the east side of the community center.  The theme centers around "inclusivity" celebrating the diverse cultures and ethnicities within the village.  The mural will showcase diversity, sustainability, gathering place, support, intellectual freedom, democracy, access, education, and recreation.  We invite all artists to submit their vision, only the chosen artist will be contacted.  

The chosen artist will be awarded $5,000 to paint the mural on the east side entrance of the community center.  The $5,000 budget includes site preparation, required materials, labor, etc., everything required to paint the mural.

Deadline to submit: April 30, 2024

Deadline to complete the mural: October 2024 (before it gets cold)
